That's what I told her. She's afraid that she won't like it as much as my 45. I think she'll like it more. She can point the 4" barrel a little quicker at the target. We'll know for sure Saturday.
I was in the Kittery Trading Post this week and looked at a compact XD in 40 S&W. I don't want that caliber as I want a 45 ACP and just wanted to get a feel for size of the compact. It seemed big to me and I suspect it would be tough to carry in summer clothes which I am in for about 8 months of the year. I have never tried an IWB holster as theres enough in my waist band without trying to cram a 45 in there. I am still interested in the XD but may get the full size instead. It isn't on the top of the list as the 4" Redhawk in 44 mag is back up there.
Terry my tactical is to big to carry. It's a fantastic high cap 45, but not very concealable. I'd like to have it by my side in a SHTF situation. They fire as fast as you can pull the trigger and never miss a beat. They eat up anything you put in them too.
