.......by the amount of mail you get. Just to see, I saved all my junk mail this past week. It's a stack a foot high, mostly catalogs or flyers that unfold. A lot of it from places I never heard of. My usual mail is 3-4 envelopes a day. A lot of Medicare plans.....:poop:

My email is up, too. My recent effort to unsubscribe from all the unwanted email in my Inbox still helps. I went from 150 a day down to less than 20. Adding Christmas stuff, it's pushing 30 a day; still not bad. My Junk folder has tripled to a hundred a day...I'm glad that's automatic.

I'm guessing a lot of people will be asking Santa for food, gas cards, and toilet paper........:(

Our mail is now officially being forwarded as I put the forward in before we knew we couldn't leave the 14th. That means the junk mail goes in the trash and only the 1st class mail is forwarded. I put a hold mail in for Carrabelle.

I went on line with my bills as I got sick of the forwarding screw ups both intentional and mistakes. The Mail person before the one we have now was escorted out of the post office as they caught her not delivering the mail. Not sure if she was stealing or just throwing it out. I had enough stuff I did not get, probably because of her that I started getting everything I could on line. In addition I put a lot of stuff like cell phones, internet and Dish on auto pay with a credit card (never a debit to my checking). Now the only mail I really get is tax bills and car registrations and a few various notifications.

My wife frequently overpaid our important stuff, so they already have enough money to cover well into next year. At some point I'll have to make sure everything is automatic. I don't believe in having negative balances, but too much trouble to refund it all, so I'll just let it run out.
I'm glad I don't have gas. The company is local, I think actually owned by the city. If you're, IIRC, ten days late they cut you off, no notice. Then you have to pay a late fee, and a reconnection fee. It's not right.

My guess is there are laws against a 10 day shut off. Up here they can't shut off in the winter if the balance owed is less that $450 for anyone. Anyone over 65 or with a known financial hardship cannot be disconnected without the Public Utilities Commission approval regardless of balance owed in the winter months.

Speaking of winter it's windy and cold here today. Supposed to be in the 60's on Thursday but warm weather in Nov up here it's usually raining as well.

Weird weather here again. Sixty today, then low seventies for two days, and back to fifty Friday.

They're calling for 86° here today, and 51° tomorrow.

I never thought, the supply chain stuff might affect your frosting. I know the withdrawal would be awful....:(
